James Jabulani Sithole

James Jabulani Sithole was born in meyerton near vereeniging in 1977 he met sensei Thabo ‘The Fighting Machine’ Lebina who tought him Karate. In 1995 he graded his first dan under shihan Kenny. In 1996 he oppended his own dojo at eketsang secondary school where he taouth his students until the club was closed by the S.G.B in 2001 he moved to Abram Hlophe Primary School where he trained with sensei Shabalala, in 2003 he joined kyokushin-kan international and he was graded 2nd dan black belt. In 2005 he graded his 3rd dan he is the chief instructor in Gauteng and the chair man of the technical panel. He is the chief Instructor at Sijabulile Kyokushinkan Dojo.

Ben Sidwaba

Ben Sidwaba a teacher by profession, started training kyokushin karate in 1984 at the age of 16. He fought in a kyokushin National Championship for the first time in 1989. In 1991 he fought in the 5th World Tournament. In 1992 he won the South African Open kyokushin Championships, a title he has defended until he retired in 2000. He placed fourth in the All Africa Tournament in 1995, and in the 6th World Tournament, he brought honour to the South African team by reaching the last 16 fighters. In 2000, he fought in Russia and came 2nd the open weight division. In 2004 he represented Kyokushinkan in a World weight category tournament in Russia and came 3rd. In 2005 he fought in the 1st World Kyokushinkan weight tournament.

Thabo Lebina

Thabo Lebina the principal of Mampodi Primary School in Ponong Vosloorus. One of the top experienced fighters. He fought in the 7th World tournament. In 2000 he fought in the Russian tournament and was awarded the best spirited fighter. In 2005 he fought in the 1st World Kyokushinkan tournament in Russia.

Mary Jane Sasa Lesiba

Tshepiso Sasa Lesiba was born on the 6th of April 1984. She started training karate at the age of thirteen under Sensei James Sithole. She started competing in full contact tournaments in 1999. She has been a champion from 2000 fighting in the under 55kg division. In 2003 she graded to first dan. In 2005 she graded to Nidan and she was selected to take part in the 1st World kyokushin kan tournament in Russia, and she came sixth in the woman kata contest. In November she was invited to a ladies all Kanto tournament and she won the under 55kg division. She became the first black lady to win a tournament in Japan. She is an instructor at Sijabulile dojo.

Joseph Tshabalala

Sensei Joseph Tshabalala is an instructor at Abram Hlophe Primary school where he is employed as an educator. He graded to second dan in 2003.

Buti Nkosi

Sensei Buti Nkosi is an instructor in Duduza near Nigel. In 2004 he graded to second dan.

Buhle Dlamini

Sensei Buhle Dlamini is an instructor in Ponong Vosloorus. He graded to second dan in 2003.

Ishmael Mngomezulu

He is an instructor at Phumelela Primary School in Katlehong near Germiston.He is presently holding a first dan .

Lwazi Majola

He is an instructor and he graded to first dan in 2004. He is struggling to find a training venue in the schools in Vosloorus.

Fannie Mthombeni

Sensei Fanie Mthombeni is an instructor in Duduza near Nigel. In 2004 he graded to first dan.

Monde Ntlati

Sensei Monde is an instructor in Duduza near Nigel. He graded to 2nd dan in 2004.

Mike Mothiba

Sensei Mike Mothiba is an instructor in Limpompo he joined kyokushinkan in May 2006.

Petros Zulu

Sensei Zulu is an instructor in Kwamashu in Durban. He joined kyokushinkan in May 2006.
